VICTORIA ANN BATES 1947 – 2020

As we were developing CinemaKC from an idea into reality almost 10 years ago, we were fortunate that Vicky agreed to serve with us on our initial Board of Directors.

She was instrumental in establishing operational guidelines, setting up our office, developing our mission statement and bylaws; you name it, she was working on it!

Her energy and enthusiasm and knowledge were exceeded only by her superb work ethics.

She was a terrific person.  We’ll miss her.

From all of us at CinemaKC, we mourn the loss of our former board member, Vicky Bates. Vicky served for several years as a key member of our organization and was a pioneering spirit.

We would love to hear any of your special memories of Vicky.
