CinemaKC Celebrates Black History Month with Special Screening Series KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI – CinemaKC, a non-profit organization dedicated to showcasing the filmmaking community, will celebrate Black History Month with a screening of a film by a local filmmaker on each of the four Saturdays in February, at 11 a.m. at Screenland Crown Center Theaters.    From portrayals of local institutions like the Mutual Musician’s Foundation to animation music to a first-look at Lawrence-based filmmaker Kevin Willmott’s new feature, “Destination: Planet Negro!” Filmmakers will be present at screenings for Q&A.THE PROGRAMS:

A FIRST LOOK at DESTINATION: PLANET NEGRO! by filmmaker and actor KEVIN WILLMOTT.  This will be a wonderful early opportunity to see Willmott’s latest sharp-edged comedy! http://www.planetnegro.com/
