Revolutionary Deejay Celebrated In ‘Radio Unnamable’ event Oct. 9

KANSAS CITY, MO – Community radio station KKFI-FM (90.1) will present the acclaimed documentary film, “Radio Unnamable,” the remarkable story of free-form New York radio disc jockey Bob Fass, at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, at the Screenland Crown Center Theatre, 2450 Grand Blvd.

There also will be a pre-show meet-and-greet at 6:30 p.m. with “Radio Unnamable” producer/co-director Paul Lovelace, whose half-century-spanning bio-doc fascinatingly explores “the man who turned free-form radio into an art” (Current) with “extraordinary archival material” (Variety) and “vivid clarity and impeccable timing” (The New York Times).
