Open-captioned movies return Aug. 30 to Boulevard Drive-In “Planes” and “Lone Ranger” to entertain all ages and hearing levels

KANSAS CITY, MO – How huge was the response to Kansas City’s first open-captioned drive- in movie event on July 11 at the Boulevard Drive-In?

“The Whole Person and CinemaKC welcomed hundreds of enthusiastic attendees…,” reported thewholeperson.org . “It was a perfect summer night to enjoy Disney’s ‘Monsters University’ under the stars, and was the first opportunity to watch a drive-in movie for many guests who are deaf or hard of hearing.”

In other words, huge enough for a sequel!

So, by popular demand, CinemaKC (s24373.p295.sites.pressdns.com) presents Disney’s “Planes” and “The Lone Ranger” in an open-captioned double-feature movie event for all ages and hearing levels at 8 p.m. Aug. 30 at the Boulevard Drive-In (boulevarddrivein.com), 1051 Merriam Lane, Kansas City, Kan.
